The Diagnostic Test has been extended to include the following NBN FTTC & Telstra NBN Tests:
NBN FTTC Tests
• NCD UNI-D Status - Snapshot of the current state of the NCD UNI-D port.
• NCD Reset - Resets the NCD and restores the service by resynchronising the NCD. May also resolve some data flow and no sync issue.
• DPU Port Reset - Resets the DPU port and restores the service by resynchronising the NCD. May also resolve some data flow and no sync issue.
• NCD Port Rest - Forces NCD UNI-D port reset. This may resolve No Data and some data flow issues.
Telstra NBN Tests
• AAA Package – Provides a profile of the service along with the last session login timestamp.
• C-IMS Package - Retrieves the physical and logical details of a voice service.
• NEM-DMS Package - Provides the ability to get Device Details/Device Diagnostic details from the Network Element Management - Device Management System
• Ping Test - Provides a measure time between one networked device and another. A successful ping test to a website such as Telstrawholesale.com.au proves connectivity to the internet from the modem, and isolates the issue to CPE.
• Speed Test - This test will provide a view of the service's bandwidth profile and download throughput.
