Product Offering Qualification API

× Please to view API detail.

The Product Offering Qualification API is a pre Quote SEP - product offering qualification designed in alignment with the industry standard TM Forum (TMF679) specification. The Product Offering Qualification API allows you to perform product offering qualification based on service and infrastructure availability for Telstra Wholesale wideband products. These checks allow you to determine the Telstra Wholesale wideband products and access technologies offered at a specified location along with the associated information for the Exchange Service Area (ESA). It will perform product availability checks, infrastructure check for free fibre count and/or fibre and conduit shortfall and for Ethernet Access and Managed Leased Line products, display the best offer bandwidth and service available with associated feasibility result and network build costs i.e. special linkage charge (SLC).

The Product Offering Qualification API can also be used for an availability check for the following Telstra Wholesale wideband products:

  • Ethernet Access (CRA/TWA 245)
  • Managed Leased Line (CRA/TWA 170)
  • Broadband Aggregation (CRA/TWA 71K, CRA/TWA 171, CRA/TWA 200 and CRA/TWA 201)
  • Wavelength (CRA/TWA 150)
  • Wholesale Business Internet (CRA/TWA 251).

The API provides information about the products, product charactetristics, and where applicable offering and network build charges for Ethernet Access, including:

  • Virtual Connection bandwidth limits and class of service productOffering eligibility and SLC associated with delivering a Tail-End service to the customer site.
  • Interface Speed productOffering eligibility and SLC associated with delivering an Aggregated Head-End (Only) service to the customer site.

Note: The Product Offering Qualification API is a snapshot only and the feasibility results are not guaranteed under the SEP framework. A Quote Price Check and SEP is required to guarantee feasibility results for 60 days and proceed to Order under a PD Ref#.

The API supports the following operations:

GET/adborId This function retrieves the address based on adborId and checks the product availability associated with the address ESA and invokes Wideband Service and Infrastructure API's to determine where appliable the best offer bandwidth and class of service available with associated feasibility result and SLC price.
GET/nbnLocationId This function retrieves the address based on nbnLocationId and checks the product availability associated with the address ESA and invokes wideband service and infrastructure API's to determine where appliable the best offer bandwidth and class of service available with associated feasibility result and SLC price.

Transaction volumes are controlled via quotas to ensure consistent and reliable performance of the API for your anticipated request volumes. Please contact Telstra Wholesale Support before implementing this API to discuss your anticipated request volumes.
