Product Offering Qualification API now includes Managed Leased Line bandwidth and service eligibility on the Red ESA List, Green Site List, or where a Quote SEP Feasibility is required.

Perform Pre-Quote SEP product, service, and infrastructure availability checks with the new Product Offering Qualification API.

We continue to grow our API library as part of our digitisation program of work by releasing our newest addition, the Product Offering Qualification API.

The Product Offering Qualification API is a pre-Quote SEP (Site Enablement Price) qualification designed in alignment with the industry standard TM Forum (TMF679) specification. It can be on-boarded as part of your pre-sales quote to order journey and will replace the Wideband Feasibility API, which will be deprecated on 30/06/2024.

The Product Offering Qualification API allows you to perform product, service and infrastructure availability checks for Telstra Wholesale wideband products when using an adborId or NBNLocId address identifier. It will display product availability, infrastructure detail for free fibre count and/or fibre and conduit shortfall and where applicable for Ethernet Access and Managed Leased Line products, display the best offer bandwidth and service available with associated feasibility result and network build costs i.e. special linkage charge (SLC).

The Product Offering Qualification API can also be used for an availability check for the following Telstra Wholesale wideband products:

  • Ethernet Access (CRA/TWA 245)
  • Managed Leased Line (CRA/TWA 170)
  • Broadband Aggregation (CRA/TWA 71K, CRA/TWA 171, CRA/TWA 200 and CRA/TWA 201)
  • Wavelength (CRA/TWA 150)
  • Wholesale Business Internet (CRA/TWA 251)

Benefits:

This new API design has allowed the TW Hub DCX project to change the way customers can quote an Ethernet Access Fibre service, by providing the best BW offer available and service attributes that will return a Green result upfront. Customers will also know prior to submitting the quote what the service eligibility and associated SLC costs are.

This is a much-improved experience than the Wideband Feasibility API, whereby customers are only informed where a product is supported at a specific ESA (Exchange Service Area).

  • You can integrate product offering qualification checks directly into your IT systems, meaning your users don't have to swivel-chair to the Quote2ActivateTM application, saving your time and associated labour costs.
  • Identifies Telstra Wholesale wideband product availability at an address and ESA.
  • Ethernet Access product service and infrastructure qualification to categorise the bandwidth and class of service eligibility as “On-Net”, “Near-Net” or “Far-Net” based on traffic light queues and display associated network build costs at an address.
  • Managed Leased Line product qualification to categorise the bandwidth and service eligibility on the Red ESA List or Green Site List and display associated network build costs, or where a Quote SEP Feasibility is required at an address.
  • Customers can rapidly define the Ethernet Access and Managed Leased Line products best offer bandwidth limits and special linkage charge (SLC) associated with delivering a service order to the customer site.
