Quote API

× Please to view API detail.
The Quote API supports quoting of the following products: Ethernet Access (CRA/TWA 245):  Point to Aggregated services, now with *Mobile Backup and Mobile Rapid Activation. *Customers can perform a quote of these services by onboarding the latest Ethernet Access features product id’s: 170 - Mobile Backup and 180 - Mobile Rapid Activation to their Quote API request. For further details relating to Mobile Backup implementation, please refer to the following video: https://telstrawholesale.hubs.vidyard.com/watch/Fkry7KzFrB6dg7LtQeTJ8M? Managed Leased Line – Ethernet (CRA/TWA 170): Point to Aggregated services. Point to Point services. The Quote API provides contracted install and monthly charges of a service as well as an indicative Telstra Network Infrastructure build costs up to the network boundary, to help determine if the site is On-net, Near-net or Far-net based on traffic light cues. It does not cover costs where applicable, relating to commercial works and in building lead in and cabling charges at the customer premise. These will be determined during the processing of your order. The Quote API has two key functions that can be invoked consecutively. Firstly, Price Check provides the Installation Charges, Monthly Rental Charges and Indicative Fee For Service (FFS) cabling charges of the specified product configuration.  If requested by the user, a reference number will be returned as part of the acknowledgement response which can be used to call the second functionality of the API. The second functionality of the Quote API when called with the saved reference number, will return a Site Enablement Price (SEP) acknowledgment response, and initiate the analysis for indicative site service and infrastructure qualification. Once the feasibility is completed and performing the GET SEP response will return the feasibility response categorising the site as Green - “On-Net” or Amber - “Near-Net” or Red - “Far-Net” and where applicable provide indicative Special Linkage Charges (SLC) for network infrastructure fibre and conduit shortfall customer build contribution. The Feasibility Reference is used to further categorise the site under the current SEP framework traffic light queues and will assist with understanding what network is available at the location. Ethernet Access: LB-Green G1 - Evo device on-net metro site whereby Lit Building device & port available on Evo network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. LB-Green G2 - Evo device on-net regional site whereby Lit Building device & port available on Evo network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. LB-Green W1 - WIP device on-net metro site whereby Lit Building device & port available supporting single class premium service on WIP network. No Special Linkage Charges apply. LB-Green W2 - WIP device on-net regional site whereby Lit Building device & port available supporting single class premium service on WIP network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Green G3 - Fibre on-net metro site whereby device required using existing free fibre available near building on Evo network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Green G4 - Fibre near-net metro site whereby device and network infrastructure build required to building on Evo network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Green G5 - Fibre on-net or near-net regional site whereby device required using existing free fibre available or device and network infrastructure build required to building on Evo network. No SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Amber A1 - Fibre near-net site whereby device and network infrastructure build required to building and floor selected for service delivery is level 2 or above. Device and network infrastructure customer build contribution is required. SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Amber A2 - Fibre near-net site whereby fibre and/or conduit shortfall network infrastructure build required, and floor selected for service delivery is level 1 or below and fibre shortfall is greater than the product allowance for a green result. Device and network infrastructure customer build contribution is required. SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Amber A3 - Fibre near-net site whereby fibre and/or conduit shortfall network infrastructure build required, and floor selected for service delivery is level 2 or above and fibre shortfall is greater than the product allowance for a green result. Device and network infrastructure customer build contribution is required. SLC - Special Linkage Charges apply. Red001 - Fibre far-net site, classified red because of excessive fibre and / or conduit shortfall or core network does not support bandwidth requested or other factors that require manual assessment. SLC is unable to be determined and a Red review or Q2A Full Feasibility required to determine customer contribution costs. Managed Leased Line: GSL001 - Sites present on the Green Site List, which are on/or near Telstra network infrastructure, whereby there are no SLC - Special Linkage Charges for connecting this site. RESA001 - Site located outside the Telstra field workforce coverage area, more than 200km from Telstra Depo.
